JOHN BURKHART BY JENNIFER & JOHN BURKHART
Thinking about camping out for your future stay-cation but don’t want to set up a tent, disassemble one, or even bring one at all? Yurt camping might also be your second adventure, too. You simply show up with your sleeping bag, pillow, snacks, and your yurts, which are great for impromptu trips! Yes, even a couple more necessities are beneficial, but yurt camping is awesome! Perhaps better if you’re farm-to-farm and off the grid, which is what we did. You can unplug and have a good time, we assure you.
He said: We made the decision to go camping this month, specifically “glamping.” Glamping is really camping for spoilt brats, for those who don’t know. I’ve used to clean camp, but I no longer have it if I don’t plan it and pack it. Ignore the toilet paper, You’re then wiping with leaves, right? It is demanding. It’s difficult to fit everything into the car, really. Because the host provided everything, I felt totally babied on this trip. When we arrived, tent, bedding, chairs, and lights were all waiting for us. Because there was a propane fire pit, I didn’t actually need to start a fire. We had a fantastic trip even without the fact that we could have brought definitely nothing. Of course, we also had some necessities, such as marshmallows and snacks for the kids to roast. We drove into town for burgers without yet cooking dinner. Spoiled b-r-a-t-s, we explored the woods, simmed by the campfire, drank, laughed, and were enthralled. Therefore, as the babbling creek and distant owls hooted, we snoozed. This was a great speedy camping place, but I’ll have to be careful not to do it frequently because it could ruin regular camping for good.

She claimed that the location had wonderful tall pine trees, a small creek, and a yellow yurt in the middle that looked like a circus tent. The kids began tormenting with joy as soon as they began exploring — nearly frolicking. My knee would often complain too much, so my excitement was more of an “internal” fun. The creek was ideal for leaf boat races because it curled up on three sides around our camp. We likely spent a few hours competing various “boats” made of leaves, sticks, and flowers until one of them crossed the finish line. We gathered around the propane fire pit when it was too dark to do that. Yes, it’s certainly as sentimental as a wood fire, but the lack of smoke was fantastic! I was not required to recline my chair! We played Mad Libs while roasting marshmallows and laughing at the same time had more enjoyable family time. Our family was in desperate need of a break from screens, so we used phones, video games, and other devices. Only the thing we needed was to get outside and stay in a pretty low-tech yurt. A small space heater and a string of outside lights were provided with electricity, but everything else operated on renewable power, batteries, or propane. I liked the included amenities, including a propane stove and fire pit, a lantern, adorable string lights inside with extra batteries, a glass beverage dispenser with water, and, best of all, an exact queen bed! It was undoubtedly the most pleasant experience I’ve had while camping. However, keep in mind that a tent does not keep sounds out as well as a yurt, but using earplugs is a plus for light sleepers. A dozen obnoxious trucks sped by before, and then… the coyotes They sounded great, but they were also incredibly frightening! I was able to fall asleep to the calming sound of the creek babbling once the trucks and coyotes had settled down. Even though it was a night of camping that went by way too quickly, I think we might as well return for more because it was for a simple, quick getaway filled with family and nature.
