Green Living Magazine asks Arizona residents to select people in their communities each year. The nominations serve as a reminder of Arizona’s sustainability community’s one of the most active in the nation each year.
The nominations for the fifth monthly Best of Arizona Awards are in, and Green Living has chosen the strongest nominees from each of the 30 categories to be added to the final voting list.  ,
The voting is then available. Vote for the individuals, businesses, and individuals who are improving the environment in Arizona by recognizing the people who most deserve it.
What the Best of Arizona Awards Recognize
The Best of Arizona Awards are Green Living’s monthly celebration of state-wide sustainability leadership. The awards are divided into 30 categories, covering all aspects of Arizona’s eco-conscious lifestyle.
Past winners include Compost Crowd, a composting company that has diverted hundreds of tons of organic material from Northern Arizona landfills, Page Springs Cellars, a winery running on solar, Ironwood Mills, a Phoenix furniture maker turning fallen urban trees into handmade heirloom pieces, and Culdesac Tempe, Arizona’s second car-free neighborhood.
What Takes Place Following the Vote
Winners will be announced in Green Living’s October Best of Arizona issue, the magazine’s signature quarterly publication dedicated solely to honoring the individuals and organizations that are the heart of Arizona’s sustainability movement. Winners will likewise receive awards at Green Living’s monthly Best of Arizona awards gala, which is one of the most popular sustainability gatherings held annually on the company’s calendar each year.
