Prepare for a special fusion of sustainability and artistry! An impressive fashion show and fundraiser,” En Pointe: High Tea &amp, Couture Reimagined” is being hosted by Ballet Arizona and native fashion incubator FABRIC. This stylish event, which will take place on April 26 from 2: 00 to 5: 30 p.m. at a private residence in Paradise Valley, will give attendees an afternoon of high fashion with a conscious twist while supporting two important local charities.

This creative event, which takes place April 19 through April 26, will highlight the ingenuity of ten accomplished fashion designers from FABRIC’s community. These designers have been given a unique challenge: reusing costumes freely donated from Ballet Arizona’s archives to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind couture pieces.

FABRIC is donating fabric from their outstanding stock, which was originally used to make 800, 000 reusable health gowns during the pandemic to further fuel their creative process and commitment to sustainability. The designers will have access to FABRIC’s eco-friendly jute printer, which will allow them to create custom prints that look fantastically with their redesigned ballet costumes, adding yet another layer of innovation.

Ballet Meets Runway

Angela Johnson, co-founder of FABRIC, said,” This collaboration is a wonderful way to celebrate the arts and sustainability.” We’re showcasing the amazing talent and innovation in our community by fusing the classic elegance of ballet with the ingenuity of upcycled fashion.

Ballet Arizona’s Contemporary Council, the organization’s young board dedicated to educating a new generation of patrons, presents” En Pointe” alongside FABRIC. Angela Johnson and Lindsay Danto-BenAviv of the Contemporary Council co-chair the event.

Serena Remy, a member of the Contemporary Council and GPEC’s SVP of Marketing & Communications, even expressed her excitement. &nbsp,

The Contemporary Council of Ballet Arizona is honored to work with FABRIC, a pioneering organization that challenges industry standards to create a more attainable, sustainable future. In this unique experience, reimagining old ballet costumes as contemporaneous couture honors the artistry of dance, amplifies the brilliance of local designers, and advances the principles of circularity.

While watching a salon-style fashion show featuring the ten stunning upcycled clothing, guests of” En Pointe” will be treated to a delectable handmade high-tea menu curated by chef Smail Yaakoubi.

Tickets are available for purchase for this extraordinary event. General admission tickets cost$ 150, while VIP VIP tickets cost only$ 275. VIP guests will have early access to two drink tickets, custom swag tote bags, and an exclusive designer collection shopping experience ( with proceeds supporting the designers ).

Fresh Phoenix-based leaders who believe in the transformative power of the arts make up Ballet Arizona’s Contemporary Council. Through initiatives like fundraising, education, volunteering, and awareness, the Council constantly supports Ballet Arizona.

Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to support two important nonprofits in Arizona while also witnessing the lovely fusion of ballet and lasting high fashion.
