For a day of education and connection, Green Living’s Health, Wellness &, Sustainability event on February 21 brought up Arizona community members, wellness leaders, climate advocates, and the health-conscious curious. A diverse lineup of experts, hands-on workshops, live entertainment, and engaging experiences were featured at the event to highlight the link between economic stewardship and personal well-being.

Root to Leaf Holistic Healing’s Meredith Simon, who opened the event by introducing a grounding sound and earthing session, urged attendees to gather round and re-connect with their body’s and environment’s biological rhythms. Attendees took part in a number of expert-led sessions throughout the day that focused on alternative health, longevity, and practical methods for living sustainably. Dr. Cintara Bradley of Sonoran University of Health Sciences and Dr. Roxane Zamora of Imagine Wellness, who spoke about economic medicine and the rising awareness of obesity, stress, and hormonal imbalances, were speakers at the sessions. With a talk on practical fitness for normal health and midday squat demonstrations, fitness expert Jodi Stokes energized the audience. The discussion between individual vitality and celestial well-being was resurrected by Certified Health Nut’s Troy Casey, who encouraged attendees to explore alternative health options.

Erin Miller of StarDust Herbals led a well-known Conscious Mocktails workshop, demonstrating how botanical ingredients and herbal blends can be incorporated into daily rituals for stress relief and nourishment, before wrapping up the speaker sessions. Alessandro Rugge, Ph. D., was a guest speaker at additional educational sessions. Dr. Natalie Shaw of Natural Dental Partners, Dr. David Owers of Quantum Medicine for You, and Dr. D. who spoke about the value of integrated dentistry,
Beyond the seminars and demos, musical and music performances kept the day exciting and interesting. Attendees also savored the live music by local artist duo WildeP’lay, a DJ set by DJ G-Lo, TwinBeanz’s coffee and matcha pick-me-ups, and a life painting by Kader Boly, who incorporated the atmosphere of the occasion into his piece. Attendees and partners gathered for networking at the conclusion of the event, followed by closing remarks from Dorie Morales, publisher of Green Living magazine.
