In Arizona’s design communities, Green Living’s Interwoven showcased leaders and innovators.
A celebration of sustainability and creativity took place on August 26 at Green Living. One-of-a-kind interwoven experience brought up innovators from the fashion, lifestyle, and architecture sectors to examine how we create and consume.  ,
Interwoven is about acknowledging that sustainability does not belong to one particular industry. When we bring those imaginative communities up, we can see new possibilities in what now exist, according to Green Living publisher Dorie Morales.” Fashion, architecture, interiors, art, food, business, and community are all connected.
A roundtable discussion about sustainability, dynamic reuse, and traditional preservation was the opening topic of the event, which took place at the firm’s Phoenix headquarters. Leading architects in the fields of interior design, construction, and architecture, including Lorenzo Perez, co-founder and directing principal of Venue Projects, Andy Fillion, project manager at McCarthy Building Co., Jared Reynolds, president of Professional Finishing Systems, Anita Lang, founder of IMI Design, and Diana Gonzalez, architectural engineer and top associate at DLR Group.  ,

Following that, a runway show featuring responsible clothing was held by Bree Guardado of Drip Jelly Designs and Crystal Daniels of Oister Vintage. Along with green designs by Aaron Blackburn, Saylor Quin, Twila” Twee” Reovan of TransformbyTwee, and Joanne Miles-Long of RRR, vintage and upcycled pieces created by Heather Nash of NV Collective, Jenny Fuller of Redhead Sadie Vintage, Melissa Davis of Meloo Vintage, Megan Wilson of Maison Archives, and Amanda Jacobs of Classic Reclaim rocked the catwalk. A vibrant marketplace was the event’s final stop as guests mingled with the designers, browsed vintage goods, and consumed food and wine from the sponsors of the night.

Green Living would like to thank everyone who came out for the evening. And we want to say a particular thanks to our sponsors, Arizona Stronghold, Elontec, DLR Group, Peak Scents, Craft Body Scan, Farm Fresh to You, American Solar &, Roofing, and Arizona Product Destruction, who contributed to Interwoven’s success.
